Geng Shuang said that in such a complex and difficult situation, the adoption of the resolution by the General Assembly with an overwhelming majority is of great historical significance. The establishment of an independent state is an inalienable national right of the Palestinian people, but Israel’s continued and illegal occupation prevents the Palestinian people from realizing their national self-determination and gives Israel an exclusive right to veto Palestinian statehood.
