Today, the decisive matches of the FFA/Coca-Cola Cup-2013 secondary school football championship took place at the Football Academy stadium of the FFA technical center. The final matches of the tournament, along with the spectators gathered at the stadium, were also watched by football players of the Armenian national team, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Araz Ozbilis, Markos Pizeli, Karen Muradyan and Davit Manoyan.

The program of the final day of the tournament was opened by the teams of schools No. 1 of Vedi and No. 84 of Yerevan, who fought for the 3rd place. The youngsters of Vedi School No. 1 won convincingly with a score of 8:0.

The final match, in which Charentsavan No. 3 and Martuni No. 3 schools met, also took place with the dominant advantage of one team. “Football Federation of Armenia/Coca-Cola Cup-2013” secondary school football cup was won by Charentsavan school No. 3 team, defeating the opponent with a score of 7:1.

Football players of the first, second and third place teams received valuable gifts from the “Coca-Cola” system: tablets, MP3 players, cameras and sports uniforms. Araz Ozbilis, Davit Manoyan and Markos Pizeli awarded the prize winners.

The “FFA/Coca-Cola Cup-2013” football cup was presented to Charentsavan school No. 3 team by Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the midfielder of the Armenian national team, and Gagik Danielyan, the general director of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia.

Artur Koshkaryan, the captain of the Charentsavan team, recognized as the best football player of the tournament, received a ball from Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the midfielder of the national team of Armenia, on which the players of the national football team of Armenia had left their signatures.

Let’s remind that “FFA/Coca-Cola Cup-2013” high school football championship started in 2013. at the beginning of April and passed through 2 stages. in the first, more than 700 secondary schools in all regions of Armenia in 1999-2000. More than 8,500 boys and girls teams born in 2018 competed in the group stage and the top 32 teams in the 2nd round have already competed to reach the finals.

The purpose of the championship is to popularize and develop the football sport in secondary schools of Armenia, as well as to involve in football training those children who do not attend football clubs or sports schools, because many popular football players started their sports career at school.
