Morocco and Malawi sign several legal instruments in Laayoune

Laayoune – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and his Malawian counterpart, Nancy Tembo, signed, Tuesday in Laayoune, several legal instruments on the occasion of the 1st session of the Joint Cooperation Commission between the two countries.

This Commission opens a new chapter in sectoral cooperation between Morocco and Malawi and covers various sectors such as agriculture, food security and mining, water and sanitation, energy development, transport and infrastructure, land, housing and urban development, higher education and scientific research as well as the promotion of tourism, cultural, religious and political programs.

Morocco and Malawi thus aspire to raise their relations to the level of a tangible and multidimensional partnership through this Joint Commission, held within the framework of the vision of the Heads of State of the two countries, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Excellency President Lazarus Chakwera.
