BNP held a meeting of the National Standing Committee, the highest policy-making forum of the party, as part of the regular meeting.
It is reported that the meeting was held at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan of the capital on Monday (September 23) night.
Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman joined the meeting virtually from London as chairman.
According to several sources of BNP, the meeting approved the decisions of the meeting held last week. Besides, various recent issues of the country were also discussed.
The policy makers of BNP expressed concern over the sudden clashes and unrest, especially in the hilly areas.
Related sources said that various organizational issues have been discussed and decided.
