From July 19, the price of gas in Armenia will increase for large consumers, greenhouse farms, and processing organizations.

In today’s session, the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) set new tariffs, which will come into force on July 19.

The price of gas supplied to the population, including the socially disadvantaged, remains unchanged.

The effective tariff of natural gas per thousand cubic meters sold to consumers with a consumption of up to 10 thousand cubic meters per month (these are mainly residents-subscribers of Aysor.am) will remain unchanged: AMD 139,000.

The tariff for up to 600 cubic meters of natural gas per year for consumers entitled to family or social benefits will also remain unchanged: 100,000 drams.

“Gazprom Armenia” offered to increase the tariff from 212 USD to 283.14 USD for each thousand cubic meters of natural gas sold to greenhouse farms and processing organizations from November 1 to March 31 inclusive. The tariff approved by PSC is 224 US dollars.

“Gazprom Armenia” offered 283.14 US dollars against the current 242.1 US dollars to consumers with monthly consumption of 10,000 cubic meters or more. PSC approved 255.92 USD.

Thus, the weighted average price for 1000 cubic meters of gas is $266.71.
