Edgar Janoyan, deputy head of the Public Relations and Information Department of the RA Police, told Aysor.am that the citizen was detained for not complying with the legal requirement of the police, based on Article 182 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
And Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page that the police is a power structure and can and should use force against those who show open contempt for the established rules, according to the law.
“This is my demand from the police, this is also the public’s demand from the police,” he said.
