Today, on March 9, “Gandzasar”-“Impulse”, “Shirak”-“Pyunik” will resume the 21st championship of the highest group of Armenia. Tomorrow, on March 10, “Ulis” will host “Ararat” in Abovyan, and “Mika” will host “Banants”.

As it is known, the championship of the highest group of Armenia is transitional, and the teams, having started the fight for the champion in the spring of last year, will finish the championship in May of this year, having played 6 seasons. There have already been 32 rounds and only 10 are left to the end of the fight.

As the official website of “Mika” informs, the team will start the season this year with a game against “Banatsi”, which will be led by the new coach, Ukrainian Vladimir Pyatenko. 2 new players were included in the “Banatsi” team: midfielder Pavlo Grishchenko from Donetsk “Metallurg” and forward Roman Debelko.

Last year these teams competed against each other 4 times. “Mika” won three games, one match ended in a draw.

In general, the teams met each other 44 times, of which “Mika” won 18 times, 11 matches ended in a draw, 15 matches ended in favor of “Banatsi”. The difference in goals is 58-54 in favor of “Mika”. At home, “Mika” won exactly half of 22 matches, 5 games ended in a draw and recorded 6 defeats. Scored 33 goals, missed 22.
