Residents of occupied Mariupol are forced to risk their lives because the Russian military has set up a new base with an ammunition depot near their homes.

Advisor to the mayor of the city Pyotr Andryushchenko reports this on Telegram.

“We spotted another Russian repair base with a large ammunition depot and transit parking,” he said. According to him, after the recent explosions in Melekino and Glubokoe, the occupiers were forced to concentrate everything in one place.

“In order not to go into details and not to disclose unnecessary information, I can say that the base is located on the Taganrog highway, less than 100 meters from residential buildings. The human shield remains in force,” Andryushchenko added.

Earlier, on September 11, explosions were heard in Mariupol and the surrounding area, in particular at warehouses and positions of the occupiers. In Melekino, attacks were also recorded on a warehouse located near a gas station and the former Scorpion store. In addition, on October 4, a new explosion was heard in occupied Mariupol, which was also heard in Berdyansk and along the coast.

By the way, according to information from the Center for National Resistance, a transshipment center is being created in Mariupol for the export of property stolen in Ukraine to Russia. It is also reported that the city has begun to build the Four Seasons agro-mall, which will become the main logistics hub for the removal of stolen goods. The port of Mariupol has turned into a key point through which everything stolen in Ukraine goes. Since the beginning of 2024, more than 165 thousand tons of various cargo have been exported, including harvested Ukrainian crops and equipment from looted metallurgical enterprises.

Let us recall that Kursor wrote that analysts estimate that in order to completely oust Ukrainian forces from the Kursk region, the Russian Ministry of Defense will need from 15 to 20 brigades, which is about 50 thousand military personnel. However, the Kremlin does not currently have such resources, and it is not possible to find sufficient reserves. Meanwhile, fighting in the region has continued since August 6, 2024.
