Korkis indicated that he “will renew the invitation to Uzbekistan on the sidelines of the next camp to hold a trial match between the two teams in Basra, especially since Iraq is looking forward to hosting the next edition of the Gulf Championship and that the presence of prestigious teams in Basra will strengthen the Iraqi bid for hosting.”
