/ The Turkish Statistics Authority announced on Saturday that Iraq ranked third among the largest countries importing goods and merchandise from Turkey during 11 months of last year 2023.
The authority said in its official statistics, which were reviewed by Agency, that “the volume of Turkish exports from January to November amounted to 232,810,366 billion dollars during the past year 2023, and Germany ranked first with 19,414,866 billion dollars, while The United States of America came in second place with $13,519,130 billion.
He added, “Iraq ranked third during the 11 months of last year 2023, amounting to 11,534,510 billion dollars, a decrease of 8.5% in the same period in 2022, when it amounted to 12,600,167 billion dollars.”
It is noteworthy that Iraq imports most of its goods and merchandise from neighboring countries, especially Türkiye and Iran, in addition to importing it from China, which is considered the largest exporter of goods and merchandise in the world.
