It sounds like bitter irony. The people from the Ukraine are supposed to “flee” to the country that is attacking them and bombing their cities.
the russian government announced on Monday morning the opening of several “humanitarian corridors” in Ukraine – but: They lead to the countries that are attacking Ukraine. It is Putin’s bogus will to protect civilians.
In the cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol and Sumy, local ceasefires should apply from 10 a.m., according to the Ministry of Defense in Moscow. This should be able to bring civilians from the embattled cities to safety.
For Kremlin ruler Vladimir Putin (69), however, “security” apparently means that people in Ukraine should be evacuated to the countries they are attacking.
It is a poisoned offer of help from Kremlin ruler Putin.
“Not an acceptable option”
Kyiv refused to evacuate civilians to Belarus and Russia via humanitarian corridors.
︎ Deputy Ukrainian Prime Minister Iryna Wereshchuk (42) described the Russian evacuation plans on Monday as “not an acceptable option”. The civilians “would not go to Belarus and then fly to Russia”.
In addition, the Ukrainian presidential office accused Russia of using the humanitarian corridors as a pretext to strengthen its own military positions and completely conquer Ukraine. This was reported by the Ukrainian online newspaper Ukrajinska Pravda.
The ceasefire had already failed at the weekend
Putin propaganda with humanitarian corridors. BECAUSE: While Putin is making poisoned offers of help, thousands are still waiting to be rescued from the war.
︎ According to the Ukrainian police, around 2,000 people have been evacuated from the city of Irpin (near the capital Kyiv). People left the city under a destroyed bridge – old people leaning on walking sticks, mothers with children, all only equipped with the bare essentials.
