China, which has consistently refused to condemn military action in Ukraine, has said Russia is its strategic ally.
Speaking to reporters at the Chinese Parliament, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said the relationship between Russia and China was one of the most important bilateral relations in the world.
Wang Yi said that China will enhance Russia’s partnership development while maintaining strategic focus among themselves, no matter how dangerous the international community may be.
China has been providing various assistance to Russia, overcoming sanctions from the West, including the United States.
