The man, referred to by Israel as the “walking dead”, was accidentally killed on Thursday. The killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in Gaza was hailed as a major victory after a year-long manhunt for the mastermind of the deadliest terror attack in Israel’s history.
World analysts have suggested that this could end the war quickly if Israel and its allies use their advantage. After the devastating attack by “Hamas” m.y. Netanyahu has threatened to eliminate the terrorist group entirely. Now that her Tartor has been killed, it is very likely that there will be turmoil and confusion among the fighters as a new leader is chosen. Among those married are Yahya Sinuar’s brother, Mohammed, and Khalil al-Haya, the chief negotiator of Hamas in Cairo. Against this background, the declaration of Israel as the winner seems more plausible than ever.
Sinuar is not just the mastermind behind the October 7 attack. He is the man who in the last year has amassed enough power to

about the moves of “Hamas”. He was one of many leaders in the splinter group, but he became the unifying figure. He was said to be hiding mainly in the tunnels under Gaza and surrounding himself with hostages to avoid being liquidated.
However, he was killed “accidentally” – in the field by a patrolling unit, and not during a specialized operation. On Wednesday, part of Israel’s 828th Bislamah Brigade patrolled in Tal al-Sultan, Rafah area. He identified three Hamas fighters and opened fire. One of them managed to hide in a nearby building. Defense forces used a drone to enter the building through a window. They find the man on the first floor –

seemingly injured
with a closed face. A video released by the drone shows the man throwing a stick at him. Israeli forces shelled the building shortly after, killing the final target, later identified as the Hamas leader.
Part of the corpse’s finger was cut off and sent for DNA samples, as traps were suspected in the area. His identity was later confirmed, and after the perimeter was secured, the body was transported to Israel. On Thursday, a senior Hamas official confirmed that Yahya Sinwar had died.
US President Joe Biden called the death of the Hamas leader a moment of relief for Israelis and an opportunity for a “new beginning” in the Gaza Strip, without the ruling group there. Biden said that

Americans, Israelis, Palestinians, Germans and many more.
“Our mission is not yet complete,” Benjamin Netanyahu hastened to clarify. In a solemn speech, the Israeli prime minister indicated that the hostages held in Gaza are a priority. Local media reported that the prime minister called a security meeting to focus on possible progress in negotiations on the hostage deal.
Meanwhile, Palestinians are convinced that the war will continue despite Sinwar’s death, and a senior Hamas official was adamant that the group cannot be wiped out with the death of its leader.
