União de Santarém hosts Moreirense this Saturday, in a match that counts for the third round of the Portuguese Cup and, despite the value of their opponent, eighth in the Primeira Liga, they are motivated and I believe they can go forward in the competition.
“We are very motivated for the Copa do Brasil game. Our goal is to win and move on to the next round. Of course, we know that Moreirense is a great team, from the 1st National League, in 8th place in the standings, and as an extremely difficult opponent”, said the president of the club, Pedro Patrício, to Rede Regional.
The manager says that the team is motivated by the last two wins in League 3, which put the club in third place in the competition, and the squad is almost fully available for this game. Center Jaime Simões and striker Ruben Araújo are the only two casualties, both due to injury.
