Experts warn that a military alliance between Russia, Iran and North Korea could seriously change the global balance of power, contributing to the formation of a multipolar world and weakening US positions in key geopolitical areas.
The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council, Andrei Kovalenko, expressed concern that the West is too slow to respond to these challenges.
In his address to American journalists from NPR, he emphasized that this is not only about Ukraine, but about the creation of tension zones, which undermines US interests in various regions of the world.
Kovalenko noted that Russia is trying to destabilize Europe, Iran is intensifying its actions in the Middle East, and North Korea is contributing to the aggravation of the situation both on the Korean Peninsula and in the context of the European conflict. In his opinion, China is also showing interest in supporting these processes.
The expert emphasizes that the West needs to more actively wage an information war against Russia, and not rely solely on independent media and public organizations. He believes that this is a key aspect that should help counter the expansion of the influence of this triple alliance.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that Iran and North Korea had already actually joined Russia’s military actions against Ukraine, which increases the threat to stability in Europe and other regions of the world.
Earlier, Cursor reported that Biden is changing his approach to the conflict between Israel and Iran.
Biden is using a “carrot and stick” strategy towards Israel.
