Thiruvananthapuram: The court did not accept the chargesheet filed by the police in the murder case of Sudheesh’s amputation at Pothencode Urukonam Lakshmanveedu colony. The chargesheet was not accepted as the accused did not have a copy and supporting documents. The court asked that the documents be submitted the next day.

The police filed the chargesheet while the bail pleas of the accused in the case were being considered on Thursday. The 150-page chargesheet was filed in the District Principal Sessions Court on the 87th day after the murder. He has been charged with murder, conspiracy and destruction of evidence.

The indictment included CCTV footage of the amputated foot and 99 testimonies. There are 11 accused in the case. Sudheesh was killed on December 11 in the afternoon at his relative’s house in front of women and children. After the murder, he had his leg amputated and was thrown into the road after a jubilant performance on his bike.
