Washington: Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has threatened India. Pannu said that he will continue to campaign for Khalistan referendum and is not afraid of any threat coming his way. In an interview with Canada’s CTV News, the pro-Khalistan terrorist said that he is confident that more evidence will emerge linking his and Nijjar’s cases. During the interview, Pannu also spewed venom against former High Commissioner of India to Canada, Sanjay Kumar Verma. This interview of Pannu has come after India recalled its top diplomat from Canada. The controversy had escalated when Indian High Commissioner to Canada, Sanjay Kumar Verma, was declared a ‘Person of Interest’ in the investigation into the murder of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. India had recalled six of its diplomats, including the High Commissioner. Along with this, six Canadian diplomats were asked to leave the country.
Pannu said- I will not be afraid
“I’m not going to be intimidated by any threats and I’m not going to stop campaigning for a global Khalistan referendum,” Pannu told CTV News. During the interview, Pannu, a supporter of Khalistan, spewed venom about Indian diplomat Sanjay Verma, saying that he is ‘less of a diplomat and more of a hypocrite.’ Making baseless allegations, he said that the spying network created under Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Verma needs to be dismantled.
‘Indian Consulate Espionage Centre’
Pannu described the Indian Consulates in Vancouver and Toronto as the center of the espionage network and said, ‘Until these two Consulates are permanently closed, they will continue to assassinate and challenge the sovereignty of Canada.’ Earlier on October 20, former High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma had also given an interview to CTV. Verma had said that ‘Justin Trudeau government encourages Khalistani extremists all the time.’
