The atmosphere in the Khankavan sports stadium is football-like. Within the framework of the football development policy in the regions, on the initiative of the Football Federation of Armenia, courses for coaches and physical education teachers from different regions of Armenia are being held for the 3rd year in a row. This time around 70 coaches will develop football knowledge, and this means that the children will be educated and trained by qualified specialists.
Children from Vayots Dzor and Syunik, who are in this beautiful place of Armenia with a separate program, but working together with the trainers helps both sides to make the rest more interesting and useful.
Vardan Minasyan, head coach of the Armenian national team, was also in Hankavan to share his experience with his colleagues. Maybe new talents are growing among them, who can later bring great success to our teams of different age groups. And this will already mean that similar courses were not unsuccessful, because visible results are important in any work done.
“This event is the initiative of the president of the football federation, Ruben Hayrapetyan. The goal is to develop football in the regions. Our federation has a special policy, you all know well, it is the development of youth football. It turns out that football seems to be concentrated only in Yerevan. The purpose of these seminars is to develop football in the regions as well. Works in that direction are already underway. The construction of a football academy is underway in Gyumri. Football should be developed in other regions as well.
“The Federation is very serious, thanks to continuous work and joint efforts, I think the result will be visible,” said Vardan Minasyan.
