As Day.Az ⁤reports with ⁣reference to Izvestia, according to information from Rosgosstrakh, on the eve ⁤of the November holidays, ⁤Russians⁢ most often chose Russia, China, Turkey,⁢ Belarus and Azerbaijan for travel. Last year,‍ Egypt was in fifth place.

In turn, according to Travelata.ru, Türkiye, Egypt, the UAE and⁤ Thailand were among the ​most ⁣popular⁤ countries for holidays during the ‌November ​holidays. Russia took fifth position.

“This year, bookings for the November holiday⁢ period are up 21% compared to last year. The top destinations have remained unchanged, and these are mainly beach holiday destinations. People are⁢ choosing to spend time at sea to prepare for the cold winter months,” – noted Marketing Director of Travelata.ru Oleg Kozyrev.

This ⁤year, Russian tourists mainly chose 4 and 5 star hotels to stay during the holidays. Compared to the previous‍ year, there has been an increase in interest in more‌ comfortable recreational conditions. The share of accommodations⁣ in ⁢five-star ‌hotels increased from 39% to 44%, while four-star ‍hotels lost 4% to 31%.

As for‍ food, the majority of⁣ vacationers preferred‌ the all-inclusive system (33%) or only breakfast (28%). In third ​place‌ was the “ultra all inclusive” option (21%). These preferences⁢ coincided with the ⁤trends ​of last year, experts concluded.
