Ukrainian President calls on Russian troops

by time news

In his nightly televised address, the Ukrainian president said that Russian troops had suffered more casualties in the current invasion of Ukraine than in the Chechnya war, and that Russian forces were beginning to realize that nothing could be achieved through this war.

“I know Russian soldiers want to survive, and those who surrender will be treated with dignity,” he said.

During the broadcast on Russian state television, a woman named Marina Ovsyanikova displayed a banner saying no to war. Selensky said he would pay his respects to him.

“Thanks to the Russians for trying to reveal the truth and you are fighting against misinformation,” he said.
