Thiruvananthapuram: Oil companies have sharply increased diesel prices. With the increase of Rs 21 per liter, the public is turning a blind eye due to inflation. KSRTC, the vehicle of the common man, has not released any figures on the possible financial loss due to this.

From now on KSRTC will have to pay Rs 121 35 paise per liter of diesel. KSRTC charges extra for bulk purchasers. KSRTC approached the Supreme Court against this but did not get interim relief.

Govt moves HC against hike in fuel prices for KSRTC Minister Antony Raju said he would approach the high court tomorrow. The additional liability is up to `25 crore per month. He said the state was facing the biggest crisis in its history.
