While we buy roughly 850 tons of chocolate Santa Clauses worth HUF 8 billion each year, until then for bacon sugar roughly the mentioned HUF 20 billion goes away, with an amount of 3-3.5 thousand tons every year. The latter seems to be more stable, of course, while the value of purchases is fundamentally influenced by prices – wrote Origo.
Regarding the latter, the good news is that the prices are in a similar range to last year: the price of traditional parlor sugar per kilogram is between HUF 5,500 and HUF 7,000, while that of premium products is between HUF 13,000 and HUF 16,5000 this year as well.
