What’s the point of this particular day without Joey Tribbiani eating everything or Brad Pitt as a guest?
We don’t have it in Greece Thanksgiving day and we think about celebrating it, we do it if an American friend invites us or just for an excuse to eat the abaco turkey.
The ancient Greeks,however,had their own Thanksgiving.
But to be honest, we have got an idea over the years from movies and series about what it is indeed Thanksgiving Day on the other side of the Atlantic, but mainly we have associated it with particular people. And some of them are our favourites Friends.
The beloved sitcom, no matter how many times we watch it even if we certainly know the words by heart - better than Constantine and Eleni – we laugh with our hearts as if it were our first time.

Until the first I love you came out of Chandler’s mouth to Monica, the episode “Flashback” took us back in time, Chandler and Ross showed the worst hair ever during their University years, Joey stuck his head in the turkey (and Monica in the finale) but mostly we saw what little Geller did to lose weight and get revenge on her future husband. Even if he had to cut off a finger.

Not everyone is into cooking, not to mention Rachel Green who mixes sweet and normal food recipes, but with Joey as a guest, we’re always sure there won’t be any leftovers. Imagine if she hadn’t rushed off with ross to spend the night with her hot dancer roommate, Janine (elle MacPherson) and her friends.

When Brad Pitt showered on the series
There was a situation where we could talk about Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving and not have the episode “The One With the Rumor”. And it was so funny to see the famous Hollywood couple at that time, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt (and he was a guest star) at the same table together pretending to be the schoolboys. Meanwhile, we were also worried if Joey would be able to eat a whole turkey by himself, but being Tribbiani, he would even order pizza.
