Russia has launched a major offensive against Ukrainian cities since February 24. Several rounds of talks between Ukraine and Russia to end the war also failed. Russia’s attacks on Ukrainian cities are currently intensifying. Ukraine’s major cities are crumbling due to Russia’s intense offensive.
Russia-Ukraine war:
The war, which has been going on for more than 20 days, has resulted in heavy casualties on both sides. The Russian military has also continued to bomb Ukraine’s major cities, including Sumi, Kiev, Kharkiv, Mariupol and Kerson. Russia continues to destroy military facilities, including Ukraine’s air base.
The International Court of Justice has ruled that Russia must immediately suspend its war offensive and that Russia has no authority or right to wage war on Ukraine, citing genocide. It also ordered that Russian forces and other troops supporting it no longer carry out any attacks in the country. But Russia has refused to comply with those orders.
Russia Intensive Attack:
Russia’s attack on Ukrainian cities has intensified. Ukraine’s major cities are crumbling due to Russia’s intense offensive. Ukraine’s cities, including Kiev, Kharkiv, and Mariupol, have been hit by a series of missile strikes.
Meanwhile, various countries around the world have condemned the war waged by Russia. Countries including the United States and Britain have imposed various sanctions on Russia. Importantly, US President Joe Biden recently banned the import of crude oil, gas and petroleum products from Russia. This is considered to be the biggest economic crisis against Russia.
Russia threat:
In addition, various foreign companies in Russia have ceased operations and suspended investment and services. As a result, thousands of Russians who worked for these companies have lost their jobs.
According to a letter from the head of the Ministry of Economic Development, Russia is considering banning companies from leaving Russia for the next 10 years if they do not resume operations by May 1.
