“there are resources for the new Rosario Castellanos National Universityfor the Benito juárez universities and for all public universities, there are resources to guarantee all the welfare programs and their updating, the three new welfare programs, there are resources for the trains, for roads, for the water works that we have been presenting,” said the head of the federal Executive.
He highlighted the reassignment that was made to the Secretary of Culture that an additional 3 billion pesos where allocated to it that will be dedicated to the arts and culture schools whose renewal will begin next year, but it will be a program for the next six years.
For her part,the Secretary of Culture, Claudia Curiel de Icazapresent at the morning conference,explained that after the work plan and diagnosis that they have carried out with students,teachers and administrators,the infrastructure will be improved,not just minor maintenance.

“There are deep infrastructure issues that we want to attack and equipment,such as instruments,the laboratories of the ENAHthe laboratories of all the schools so that they return to their best moment and continue working on the link with other spaces,” said the official.
He added that another central issue that students asked about is an update of the study plans that they have around 15 to 20 years without modifications that go according to the demands of the students.
Curiel de Icaza highlighted that for the following year there will no longer be fees for registration and re-registration of the schools of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (Inball) in which around 6 thousand pesos are paid and in other cases up to 20 thousand annuallythis with the intention of guaranteeing quality public education.

Claudia Curiel de icaza: Absolutely. Many of our study plans have not been updated for 15 to 20 years, which is quite alarming considering the rapid evolution in educational demands and societal needs. We aim to revamp these plans to reflect current trends and expectations, ensuring that our educational offerings are relevant and effective for today’s students.
Time.news Editor: And what about financial barriers for students? There have been concerns regarding rising fees for registration at various arts institutions. How is your management addressing these challenges?
Claudia Curiel de Icaza: We recognize that financial barriers can hinder access to education. Thus,starting next year,we will eliminate fees for registration and re-registration at the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (INBAL).This initiative aims to ensure that quality public education is available to all, alleviating the financial burden that many students currently face.
