The bodies of six people who drowned in a cargo ship collision with a passenger boat have been found in Bangladesh.

The cargo ship collided with a passenger boat carrying about 50 people on the Chittalaksaya River in the suburbs of Dhaka. In the incident, the passengers of the boat fell into the water and staggered.
Firefighters and rescue workers are searching for those who drowned while others were trapped nearby. Authorities say the bodies of six people have been recovered and the death toll could rise as the search for the missing continues.
