As part of this federal operation, the injury to an agent of the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection in Culiacán was reported, as well as the seizure of weapons and armored vehicles.

The Security Cabinet reported that, as a result of an operation, they were detained 4 young people linked to Los Chapitos, identified as:
- Gabriel Alberto Ramos Beltrán, 29 years old
- Luis Ezequiel Rubio Rodríguez, 28 years old
- Juan Carlos Dorantes Meza, 24 years old
- José David Saavedra Beltrán, 20 years old
Unofficial sources reported that the detained men were operating under the orders of Jorge Humberto Figueroa Benítez, known as “El 27” and/or “El Perris”.
It is known that El Perris is the head of security for Los Chapitos, sons of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, responsible for coordinating operations and generating violence in Sinaloa.

“A research colleague was injured and is out of danger“, reported the head of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), Omar García Harfuch.
“The Security Cabinet @SEDENAmx @SEMAR_mx @FGRMexico and @SSPCMexico through CNI and the Undersecretary of Investigation in coordination with the @sspsinaloa1 will continue with these actions to reduce violence in the state of Sinaloa,” he said.
The mobilization took place in Calle Estado de Veracruz and Estado de Pueblawhen ministerial personnel, together with military personnel, searched a property where armored and tactical vehicles of the Army were found.
