To commemorate the late singer SB Balasubramaniam, a single rock weighing 6 tonnes was smashed and his face and handwriting were carved.
Created over a period of 6 months at a sculpture gallery in the Sanjeevi Nagar area of Auroville near Pondicherry, the work features SBP’s facial expressions, virutsam and the mantra he often utters. The sculpture is to be sent to SBP’s farm house in Tamaraipakkam, Tiruvallur district.
