Ukraine says more than 300 people have been killed in a Russian attack on a theater in Mariupol, a makeshift refugee camp. On March 16, Russia bombed a theater in Mariupol. The Drama Theater in Mariupol was home to thousands of people, including women and children. According to international media reports, relations with Mariupol are now in a state of disarray.
The supply of essential items here is also minimal. Mariupol is a port city in Ukraine. Witnesses say Russian planes bombed the theater. It was clear from the released films that the center of the theater had been destroyed in the attack.
Ukraine’s foreign ministry says a Russian shelling of a mosque in Mariupol has killed at least 80 people, including children. Ukraine says it has attacked civilians seeking refuge in a church in Mariupol. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a mosque named after Sultan Suleiman and his wife, Rox Solana. Ukraine says 84 people have been killed, including 34 children and women.
