As part of the front against Iran: Prime Minister, Naftali BennettThis evening (Saturday) condemned the attack on Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Saudi Arabia, declaring: “The State of Israel expresses its regret to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in view of the heavy attack led by the Houthis, who are supported by Iran.”

He added that “this attack is further proof that Iran’s regional aggression knows no borders, and reinforces the fear of removing the Revolutionary Guards from the list of terrorist organizations (FTO).”

Last night, a spokesman for the Houthi rebels in Yemen claimed that rebel forces had launched missiles and drones at Aramco facilities in the city of Jeddah, and that these had targeted the launches at vital facilities in the Saudi capital.

Recall that just a week ago the Gulf Cooperation Council, located in Saudi Arabia, announced that it would consider inviting the Houthi movement to talks in the city of Riyadh. According to informed sources, the Council wants to hold consultation talks as part of an initiative aimed at advancing UN peace efforts.
