On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day (held on March 24, 2022), we take stock of this contagious infectious disease caused by bacteria. Tuberculosis remains the deadliest infectious disease for people living with HIV. Every day, more than 4,000 people succumb to it and almost 30,000 others contract this disease.
