Years ago, the dance video presented by Sanusha and co was highly criticized. Sanusha responded to the mockers by posting the same video again on social media.
“It simply came to our notice then. Yes I know how to dance beautifully. I like dancing a lot. This is a video of a dance performance I did on a stage years ago. It’s not for the faint of heart. Sanusha shared the video saying, Following the release of the post, many people came out in support of the actress.
What Sanusha said about body shaming
I have never faced so many attacks on social media. Pornographic comments about dress and so on, I think there is less in our industry. I personally have not experienced much social media attacks. Maybe the child in their own home has the image of me from the past. No matter what I show, many people only evaluate it as the youngest child in the house. I’m upset when I’ve reacted to something. Body shaming is one of the things I love and hate about. It does not have to be this way. I do not tolerate body shaming against others.
It does not matter what type of person you are, whether you are fat, skinny, white or black. My belief is that the ultimate goal is for us to love ourselves. After all, we love ourselves the most. Why intrude into the lives of others.
I’m a foodie. I have no control over what I eat. The body shaming that comes with it does not matter. But in between I got PCOD. Then came the stage where you have to control your health. That’s why I cut wood. And not just because someone said you were fat. It doesn’t matter to me. I like myself no matter what.
