The employees stated that they were currently in debt and therefore could not accept the check. With this the dispute was formed. They submitted a check for Rs 1,35,686, including the salary of Mathew Kuzhalnadan MLA.

Ajesh and his wife Manju, the landlord, said that they had not been informed of the loan and that they had come to pay off the debt. Then they were accepting the check. But the Muvattupuzha Urban Bank employees clarified that the loan could not be credited to Ajesh’s loan account. But the confiscated family said they would not pay CITU.

The house bank came to confiscate the mortgaged house while the landlord Ajesh was out of treatment. MLA Mathew Kuzhalnadan came out against the move to keep minors out and broke the locks and let the children inside the house. The bank announced that it would repay the loan, but after the incident became controversial, the bank’s left – wing employees disbanded and settled the loan.
