Israeli Prime Minister Naphtali Bennett has announced that a state-of-the-art weapon designed to accurately strike and destroy anything entering the airspace has been successfully tested.
Israel already has a state-of-the-art air defense weapon system, the Iron Dome, and has now successfully tested a new type of weapon.
Named the Iron Beam, the air defense weapon was developed by Laser-powered Israeli Rafael Advanced Defense Organization.
The Israeli Defense Ministry said the weapon would laser-destroy unmanned aerial vehicles, rockets and missiles entering the airspace.
This air defense system is said to be accurate, easy to operate and less expensive than other security measures.
