Pakistani Actress Found Dead in Karachi Apartment, Investigation Underway

The body of the 32-year-old artist was discovered inside an apartment located in the “Union of Commerce” area of the sixth stage of the Defense Housing Authority in Karachi, according to a statement released by Sayed Asad Reda, the Southern Police Director. The discovery occurred during a court-ordered evacuation of the building.
Police elements from the “Jizri” precinct attempted to gain access to the apartment by knocking, but received no response. Forced entry was ultimately required, revealing the artist’s body in an advanced state of decomposition. “The body had clearly been there for a significant period,” a senior official stated.
The remains were transferred to the medical center of the medical studies for examination. Sumaya Sayed, the legal doctor on the case, confirmed that death occurred some time ago, but the precise cause remains undetermined. Preliminary investigations suggest the death may be “normal,” however, a final forensic report is pending to provide a more definitive explanation.

The police investigation revealed that the actress had not paid her rent since April 2024. This led to legal action by the property owners, culminating in the court order for eviction. The eviction proceedings ultimately led to the discovery of her body.
