Dubai | UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has donated Dh10 lakh (Rs. 2 crore) to the ‘One Billion Food Package’ initiative announced by VPS Healthcare Chairman and Managing Director Dr. In Shamshir field. Through this, food can be provided to millions of poor people in different countries.

He said he was proud to contribute to the initiative, which aims to provide assistance and relief to the malnourished. Shamshir said. The initiative supports the global fight against hunger and represents the values ​​of the UAE and its leadership. Interventions that expand the scope of humanitarian action can reach out to children, refugees, displaced persons, and victims of disasters and crises. Shamshir Vayal said that VPS Healthcare is committed to always support such activities.

Initiative by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI). This is a continuation of last year’s ‘100 Million Meals’ campaign. 220 million food parcels were distributed last year. The new target of one billion (100 crore) food parcels is following the positive response.
