Motorcyclist Dies in Collision
A 43-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a car on TF-42.
A fatal collision occurred on TF-42, PK 6, in the municipality of Icod de los Vinos on July 27, 2025, at 18:55 hours. The crash involved a motorcycle and a car, resulting in the death of the 43-year-old motorcyclist.
What happened in the crash?
Emergency services received a report of the collision, which required medical attention for both drivers. The Canarian Emergency Department (SUC), Primary Care, Local Police, Civil Guard, and the Road Conservation Service of the Cabildo de Tenerife were all dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, medical personnel confirmed the motorcyclist’s death due to injuries sustained in the impact. The driver of the car, who initially reported moderate chest pain, was attended to and transported to the North Hospital by a basic life support ambulance.
The Civil Guard is handling the official proceedings and managed traffic flow at the accident site. Road crews were also on hand to clean the roadway.
