NYPD Releases Photos of Suspects in Fatal Bronx Park Shooting

A tragic incident unfolded at Ferry Point Park in the Bronx, as the New York Police Department released images of seven individuals sought in connection with a double shooting that claimed the lives of two men on Monday.

The shooting occurred at approximately 6 a.m. near 500 Brush Ave., prompting a 911 call that brought officers to the scene. Upon arrival, authorities discovered Gabriel Alvarez, 22, of Connecticut, suffering from gunshot wounds to the abdomen and buttocks, and Adam Waldropt, 29, with gunshot wounds to the armpit and shoulder.

Both Alvarez and Waldropt were immediately transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition by Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, both men tragically succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced dead.

Ongoing Investigation and Search for Suspects

The NYPD is currently conducting an active investigation into the shooting, with no arrests made as of Tuesday. Law enforcement officials have released photos of seven suspects believed to be involved in the incident, urging anyone with information to come forward.

“The investigation remains ongoing, and we are actively pursuing all leads,” stated a senior police official.
