What’s the news? Starbucks Mexico is closing its “We all sow Café 2025” campaign with a commemorative Osito Barista keychain, available starting August 25 in all stores.

This initiative directly links consumer purchases to environmental impact. For each keychain bought, the company commits to donating the equivalent of one coffee plant. These plants will be distributed to coffee communities across Mexico, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to sustainability and agricultural support.

“Each plant delivered represents a history of growth and teamwork among our clients, partners and coffee growers,” said Sarai Jiménez, director of construction and reputation for Starbucks Mexico brand. “This new keychain is an example of how collective action can generate a deep impact on communities.”

This isn’t a new endeavor for Starbucks Mexico. Since 2014, the program has successfully delivered 5.6 million coffee plants to producers. These plants are specifically chosen for their rust resistance and their ability to thrive amidst changing climate conditions.

The support extends beyond just plant distribution. Through the Farmer Support Center (FSC), coffee growers receive crucial technical assistance, advice, and workshops. Topics covered include boosting productivity, sustainable fertilization methods, and effective pest management. This comprehensive approach has empowered thousands of families to strengthen their crops and build a more secure future.
