Dubai’s creators HQ Attracts Global Talent, Fuels Content Economy Ambitions

Dubai is rapidly establishing itself as a global hub for the content economy, with its dedicated headquarters for content creators, Creators HQ, experiencing significant early success. Launched in January 2025 during the third edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit,the initiative has already drawn considerable international interest and investment.
In just six months, Creators HQ has welcomed 2,415 active members representing 147 countries, alongside 78 global companies from 24 nations choosing to relocate to the United Arab Emirates.

The influx of businesses originates primarily from the following countries:

This concentration highlights the UAE’s growing appeal as a strategic location for companies operating within the digital content landscape. The collective reach of the content creators now based in the UAE is staggering – exceeding 2.45 billion people worldwide. Their work spans a diverse range of industries and platforms, generating substantial engagement on critical social, cultural, economic, and humanitarian topics.
UAE Positions Itself as a Global Leader
According to a senior official, the rapid growth of Creators HQ is a direct reflection of the UAE’s commitment to leading the global content economy. “The content economy is one of the main drivers shaping the world’s future,” the official stated. “The UAE is working to be among the first to create and lead that future.”
The hub’s ambitious goal is to attract 10,000 creators in its next phase, further solidifying Dubai’s position as a central destination for digital talent.Creators HQ aims to foster a comprehensive and supportive ecosystem for all stakeholders in the creator space, prioritizing the development and dissemination of positive and impactful content.
Comprehensive Support for the Creator Ecosystem
Established under the Content Creators Fund, initiated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the fund is designed to bolster digital talent, encourage innovation, and promote sector growth. Creators HQ offers a range of exclusive services to attract and retain talent, including assistance with Golden Visa applications, relocation logistics, and company establishment.
The hub is designed to host over 300 events and workshops annually, catering to a broad spectrum of creators working in areas such as social media, digital streaming, podcasts, visual arts, advertising, fashion, gaming, music, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and e-sports.
“We believe creators and innovators are the ones who shape a better world for humanity,” one analyst noted. “Creators HQ is a hub that fosters creativity and innovative ideas, a platform for sharing expertise and developing skills, bringing together content creators from all cultures under one roof.”
