Monaco beat Olympiacos 72:96 in Piraeus

The Euroleague playoffs gave us tonight (Friday) another reminder of how crazy he can be. This time, the one who was in charge of the show is Monaco, who with a simply 72:96 against Olympiacos at the Hall of Peace and Fraternity came back to life, setting a 1-1 draw in a particularly rare display.

The start was actually by Tyler Dorsey and his friends, but an amazing French run of 0:20 led to a crazy 12:30 in the second quarter, and the double-digit difference that the group of princesses managed to keep until the end.

Above all, one must talk about Mike James. The mighty star, who led Monaco to the first Euroleague playoffs in its history, starred and with a second half of the films abused the local gang with 21 points in the second half (and 23 overall) en route to a first playoff victory in Monaco history. Once again, James has proven that the team he leads can never be underestimated. Alongside him, Danilo Andiosic also recorded a good game with his 19 points, while on the other side 14 of Sasha and Zankov were not enough.

And now, where will it go? The two will arrive in France with a relatively surprising 1: 1, this after Olympiacos lost at home for only the second time this season in the Euroleague. The road to a decision is of course still long, but James and Monaco have shown that they do not intend to serve as a backdrop in the series to which they came from seventh place, and the goal is one – historic immigration to the last four.
