BLUDENZ, Austria – Bright late summer weather set the scene for the annual Gartafescht, drawing numerous visitors to the Caritas Vorarlberg Vinzenz community in Bludenz. The event offered a vibrant program and a chance to connect, celebrating the spirit of togetherness in the city.

The Gartafescht, held in the Vinzenz community grounds, aimed to strengthen community bonds.Mayor Simon Tschann expressed his gratitude for the strong turnout, noting that it directly supports Caritas’s vital work and the residents. “The annual garden of the WG Vinzenz of Caritas Bludenz connects all of us – and that is exactly what makes our city strong,” Tschann stated. “I am very pleased that so many people visited this festival and thus support the work of Caritas and the residents of the Vinzenz community.”
Residents and staff of the Vinzenz flat share meticulously prepared the festival with considerable dedication. The atmosphere was enhanced by musical performances from “Bildstars Harmonie” and “Walt.” Younger attendees were delighted with a bouncy castle, pony rides, and face painting stations, ensuring fun for the whole family.
Several local officials attended the sunny party. Among them were Mayor Simon Tschann, Vice Mayor Andrea Mallitsch, Kulturstadttradt Cenk Dogan, city Councilor Andreas Fritz-Wachter, and City Councilor Bernhard Corn.Caritas Director walter Schmolly and Martin collini, head of the Caritas Bludenz workshop, were also present. The event blended entertainment and culinary treats with a strong emphasis on cooperation.
