Natalia Klitschko (48) is strong and independent. But since the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine, the wife of boxing champion Vitali Klitschko (50) has been experiencing pain that makes her helpless. But giving up is out of the question for the native of Hamburg. She helps!

“As a celebrity, I’m privileged to give people a voice. I feel the responsibility on my shoulders,” says Natalia. She has just auctioned off her denim jacket for 5,000 euros to gallery owner Kirsten Roschlaub (47).

The money will be used to support the Klitschko Foundation’s “We are all Ukrainians 2022” campaign. The singer is also helping her country with her new song “Better Day”.

“I am infinitely sad. And I am afraid that the war will not end for a long time. The day it all started three months ago, I thought I was in the wrong movie, just cried,” says Natalia. She immediately called her mother, who lives near Kyiv. Natalia: “I was in shock, felt powerless and was very afraid for my family.” In the meantime, she has taken in her mother, sister, nephew and a strange boy.
How worried are you about husband Vitali? Natalia: “Very big. Also about Vladimir. My heart also beats for everyone else who is in the struggle and needs to survive. I’m proud of my country, I’m an optimist, I hope things get better. It can never be good again.”
