Carlos Alcaraz has officially clinched the top spot in the 2025 ATP 500 Bonus Pool, guaranteeing himself at least $1 million in addition to his already substantial earnings this season. The Spaniard’s victory at the Tokyo title event solidified his position, despite two remaining ATP 500 tournaments in Basel and Vienna.
Alcaraz’s Stellar 2025 Season
Alcaraz’s consistent performance throughout the year has been the key to his success. He has accumulated 1,930 PIF ATP Rankings points at ATP 500 events, securing titles in Rotterdam, Queen’s Club, and Tokyo. His impressive run also included a finalist appearance in Barcelona and a quarter-final showing in Doha.
“By lifting the trophy in Tokyo, Alcaraz guaranteed that he will finish the season atop the list,” a source within the ATP stated.
The ATP 500 Bonus Pool: A $3 Million Incentive
The ATP 500 Bonus Pool offers a total of $3 million to the top six players in the standings, contingent upon participation. Players must compete in at least five ATP 500 events during the 2025 season and meet specific swing commitments to be fully eligible for the bonus.
Last year, $1.34 million was distributed among the top five players, with Arthur Fils earning the largest share at $615,000.
