According to the Reserve Bank of India, it could take up to 13 years for India to recover from the economic impact of the Corona outbreak.
The Reserve Bank of India has released its report on currency and finance.
The report points out that economic growth slowed to minus 6.6 percent in 2021. Even if the economy grows at 7.5 percent a year after 2023, it is said that the losses incurred during the Corona period can only be offset in fiscal 2034-35.
The report also said that economic growth was dependent on government stimulus measures. At the same time, the ongoing war in Ukraine and inflation have created new challenges.
