IROS 2025: A Focus on Human-Robot Interaction

AgiBot’s Product Lineup Captivates Attendees
at its exhibition pavilion, AgiBot presented its complete product lineup – G1, G2, X2, and A2 – offering an immersive experience for attendees.the company highlighted the practical applications of its technology in industrial settings. For exmaple, the G1 robot achieved fully automated parcel supply operations in logistics scenarios, collaborating seamlessly with DEMAC’s Smart Shuttle Sorting Robot. The recently launched G2, which debuted on October 16, made its first public appearance, attracting considerable attention.
The crowd-favorite X2 robot demonstrated its high-degree-of-freedom motion control through captivating dance performances, while the A2 model underscored the value of simulation technology.
AgiBot World Challenge Fuels Innovation
A core highlight of IROS 2025 was the first “AgiBot World Challenge,” co-hosted with OpenDriveLab. The competition, boasting a total prize pool of $560,000-a testament to AgiBot’s commitment to fostering innovation-drew 431 teams from 23 countries and regions across five continents, representing a diverse range of universities and research institutions.
The challenge comprised two tracks: manipulation and World Model. The Manipulation track, especially competitive, saw 11 teams advance to an offline real-robot final held at the IROS venue from October 21-22. Teams leveraged the AgiBot platform to complete various operational tasks, with the winning team receiving a $10,000 cash prize. “The competition not only demonstrated the technological innovation capabilities of global young developers but also verified the advanced nature and stability of the AgiBot platform,” one analyst noted.
The World Model track, focused on “enabling AI to predict the physical world,” utilized the open-source AgiBot World dataset and EVAC baseline model. participants achieved technological breakthroughs in the field of embodied world models, offering new insights for future development.
