Government Shutdown Does Not Impact Operations

This stability is due to advance funding mechanisms allocated through the Indian Health Service (IHS). “The Indian Health Service has advance appropriations so that its operations and the funding that comes to Cherokee Nation Health Services via IHS has not been interrupted during this government shutdown,” Dr. Harp said.
