The Huskies are coming off a remarkable weekend sweep of no. 11 Northeastern, showcasing resilience and offensive firepower.

The Huskies demonstrated their ability to overcome adversity in their recent triumph over Northeastern, erasing a three-goal deficit to force overtime. In a thrilling finish, Joey Muldowney scored the game-winning goal, solidifying a weekend sweep. this victory underscores the team’s mental fortitude and ability to perform under pressure.

UConn previously secured a sweep against UNH in January. That weekend featured a combined total of 10 goals,indicating a high-scoring and competitive series. UConn will look to replicate that success when they face off against UNH later this month.

Marc Gatcomb recently became the ninth Husky to reach the NHL,having been called up by the New York islanders. he joins a distinguished group of former UConn players including chase Bradley, Ruslan Iskhakov, Yan Kuznetsov, Todd Krygier, Cole Schneider, Max Letunov, Adam Huska, and Tage Thompson.
