Soojin’s Concert Cancellations Spark Fan Outcry and Questions for BRD Entertainment

Fans of former I-DLE member Soojin are expressing growing frustration as a series of concert and fan meeting cancellations raise concerns about the artist’s career trajectory and the management practices of her agency, BRD Entertainment. Over the past year, multiple events have been abruptly called off, leaving fans demanding answers and questioning the level of support for the singer.

Repeated Cancellations Raise Red Flags

The initial setback occurred in October of last year when EVERLINE canceled Soojin’s planned “Summer Daze” North America tour before tickets were even released, citing “unavoidable circumstances” without providing further explanation. Despite a subsequent rescheduling as “Re:summer Daze” – encompassing 15 dates across the US and Canada – the tour ultimately faced the same fate.

In August, organizer Abridge announced the complete cancellation of “Re:summer Daze” in North America, attributing the decision to “unforeseen circumstances” and clarifying it was not related to Soojin’s health. This pattern continued into November, with the cancellation of a Shanghai fan meeting, “Meet You,” on November 9, attributed by BRD Entertainment to “local circumstances.” Just days later,on November 20,DLLM announced the cancellation of soojin’s “Re:Summer Daze” concert in Hong Kong, scheduled for December 12,again citing “unavoidable circumstances.” The organizer even created a dedicated X account to share the news.

Ticket Sales Under Scrutiny

Adding fuel to the fire, data suggests potential issues with ticket sales for the “Re:Summer daze” tour. According to data shared by @touringkpop on July 2, 2025, overall sales sat below 50% two and a half months before the tour’s scheduled start. Several cities, including Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, had sold less than 30% of available tickets, with Dallas lagging significantly at just 9.5% of its 905-seat capacity.

Here’s a breakdown of the North American tour’s ticket status as of July 2, 2025:

  • Tickets Remaining: ~8,822
  • Sale Rate: 46.84%
  • Net Capacity: 7,772+
  • Shows: 14/15 (Data for Covington, KY is currently unavailable).

Fans Voice Disappointment and demand Openness

The repeated cancellations have ignited a wave of criticism directed at BRD Entertainment. Fans are accusing the agency of insufficient promotion and a lack of communication regarding the ongoing issues. “This level of disregard is unacceptable. We need answers!” one fan posted on X, tagging both @brd_soojin and @brd_entofficial.
