Chennai: ‘Jay Beam’ has won two awards at the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival, Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor.
‘Jai Beam’ was produced by Surya-Jyotika couple’s production company 2D. The film was last released on November 2, 2021 by ODT. It was directed by Gnanavell. Cast Surya, Manikandan, Lijomol Jose, Prakash Raj, M.S. Bhaskar was the first to star. The film is an adaptation of a true story.
The film has attracted a lot of attention since its release. It has also amassed various awards. Meanwhile, ‘Jay Beam’ has won two awards at the Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival.
The film won the Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor awards. Actor Manikandan has won the Best Supporting Actor award. He played the role of Rajakkannu.
